🚀 SlabIQ Update — Everything Since September 3rd

We’ve been busy over the last few days. A lot of this work has been focused on making SlabIQ easier to use, easier to understand, and much more reliable as we continue building toward the platform we originally envisioned.

Here’s what’s changed 👇

🃏 Major Card Catalog Overhaul The Card Catalog has been getting a serious rebuild.

Instead of feeling like a giant collection of card records, the goal is a true set and card catalog that makes it much easier to browse, search, understand sets, and find individual cards.

We’re also continuing to improve the underlying catalog data so SlabIQ can make better matches and rely more heavily on known card information instead of AI whenever possible.

🔍 Better Card Identification & Matching A lot of work has gone into improving how SlabIQ identifies cards.

As the catalog grows, SlabIQ is being built to recognize more cards instantly from our existing reference library rather than unnecessarily sending everything through AI.

That means: ⚡ Faster identification 🎯 More accurate matches 🤖 Less unnecessary AI processing 📚 A much stronger card database over time

💰 Better Catalog & Pricing Data We’ve continued working on making the data behind identified cards more reliable, including better handling of card information, sets, parallels, finishes, and pricing data.

The goal is simple: when SlabIQ tells you what a card is, the information attached to that card should actually be trustworthy.

TCG Finish Handling Fixed We fixed an issue with TCG cards where changing a card from Base → Holo / Reverse Holo wasn’t properly updating the generated listing title.

Finish changes should now flow through correctly so titles accurately represent the card you’re listing.

📦 Listing Publish Progress One of the most frustrating parts of publishing a larger batch was having almost no idea what SlabIQ was doing.

That experience has been improved with a dedicated publishing progress experience so you can actually see your listings being processed instead of clicking Publish and wondering what is happening.

🧬 Duplicate Combiner UI Overhaul The Duplicate Combiner works incredibly well, but the interface wasn’t keeping up with the tool itself.

We’ve been rebuilding the experience to make it feel like a proper professional dashboard, including clearer statistics, easier-to-follow duplicate groups, better status information, and a much cleaner workflow.

The SKU Vault and related duplicate information are also being cleaned up so it’s easier to understand exactly what SlabIQ combined and what happened to each item.

📋 Inventory Editing Rebuild Inventory editing has also received some much-needed attention.

There were too many different ways to open or edit the same item, different screens behaved differently, and some actions could even lead to broken pages.

We’re consolidating that experience so editing an inventory item feels consistent no matter where you entered from.

🖼️ Preparing the Catalog for MUCH Larger Image Libraries We’ve also done a ton of work behind the scenes to prepare SlabIQ for a dramatically larger reference-image library.

This is extremely important for the future of Scan & Identify. The more known card images SlabIQ has available, the more cards we can identify instantly without needing AI.

And we are talking about building toward a catalog containing millions of reference images, not just a few thousand.

🧠 The Bigger Picture A lot of what we’re doing right now isn’t about adding another random button to SlabIQ.

We’re going back through some of the biggest parts of the platform — Catalog, Inventory, Scan & Identify, Listing, Duplicate Management, and Pricing — and rebuilding the areas that became confusing or messy as SlabIQ grew.

There is still a LOT coming.

Some of the changes being made right now are laying the groundwork for things we haven’t announced yet. 👀

Thank you to everyone who continues testing SlabIQ, reporting bugs, and giving us feedback.

We’re just getting started. 🚀
