Overview
Catalog V2 sits under Scan & Identify, batch matching and pricing. It adds dedicated storage for a far larger library of reference images, a pipeline that brings in whole sets at scale, and card records precise enough to tell base cards, parallels and inserts apart. Most of the foundation is live. Still to do: organizing subsets, finishing data repairs and covering sports beyond Baseball.
Completed work
- Dedicated private storage for catalog reference images, served through short-lived links
- Large-scale Baseball checklist and image ingestion
- Parallels treated as part of a card's identity when importing
- One shared definition of a card and its parallels across the public catalog
- Baseball printings that had been fused together restored as separate cards
- Card counts that count distinct cards, broken down into base cards, inserts and parallels
- Releases can show their insert and autograph checklists as one merged checklist
