Clear Handling of Cards SlabIQ Can't Identify
When SlabIQ can't identify part or all of a card, it says so plainly, keeps the card listable and never invents a value. It also never blames the card for a temporary service outage.

Overview
If the AI service is unavailable, cards go back to their previous state and the run can be restarted, rather than being marked as cards SlabIQ couldn't identify, and you aren't charged for the failed attempt. If identification is interrupted, the batch says it stopped and offers Resume. A sports parallel that can't be confirmed is listed as Base instead of 'Not identified', and descriptive wording never becomes a field value. Cards missing from the catalog are proposed for addition, and internal match diagnostics stay out of your view.
Completed work
- AI outages restore card status, aren't billed, and leave the batch restartable (Aug 30)
- Interrupted identification shows as stopped, with Resume (Sep 27)
- Descriptions never become the parallel (Sep 28)
- An unconfirmed sports parallel is Base everywhere (Oct 14)
- Cards missing from the catalog are proposed on Ready (Oct 25)
- Internal 'why it didn't match' panels removed from seller views (Oct 26)
