Getting sports parallels, inserts and variations right. The AI names the parallel, and serial numbering and the catalog correct it. A bare colour alone can't create a parallel, and a parallel that can't be confirmed is listed as Base.

Overview
The AI keeps full knowledge of each product's parallel lineup and names the parallel. SlabIQ then matches that name to the catalog's spelling, overrides it when serial numbering disagrees, and rejects a lone colour with nothing else behind it. Chrome, Prizm and foil count as base finishes rather than parallels, and wording such as 'plain surface, no refractor' can no longer become the parallel. Card numbers, years and set names were tightened at the same time so that matching looks in the right product.
