Overview

Duplicate prevention covers three places: copies of the same card inside one batch, batch cards that match a listing you already have, and duplicates already sitting in your inventory. All three now use the same identity rules and the same combining service, so a card is combined once, its quantity goes up instead of a second listing being created, and graded and raw or different grades are never mixed. Live verification and a few reliability gaps remain.

Completed work

  • Check Batch Duplicates combines copies inside a batch into one item with the full quantity, with undo (2026-09-13)
  • Before publishing, SlabIQ checks the selected cards against your existing listings
  • One combining service for batches and the Duplicate Combiner, with per-listing locks so a card is absorbed only once (2026-09-13)
  • Combine many batch cards into many listings at once (2026-09-30)
  • Stricter identity rules: different grade, grading company, graded vs raw, store or serial never group (2026-10-14)
