Overview
When SlabIQ processes a batch, publishes listings, imports inventory, generates images or runs another background task, the interface should immediately reflect progress and completion.
Why we're building this
Users should never need to wonder whether a job is still running or manually refresh a page to discover it finished.
Current work
Publishing progress, batch refresh behavior and background-job status communication.
Completed work
- Live update stream so open pages react to changes without a refresh (2026-08-25)
- Publishing progress window with live counts that survives a page refresh, plus Retry Failed (2026-09-20)
- Batch pages show cards as they finish identifying (2026-09-27)
- Interrupted identification shows 'Identification stopped' with a Resume button (2026-09-27)
- Shopify store Sync panel with status, history and retry (2026-10-21)
What's next
Standardize progress UX across every long-running SlabIQ workflow.
